Jair Nino is a Barcelona-based artist whose work merges natural elements with abstract expressionism. With a professional background in design, branding, photography, and printmaking, his artistic practice has evolved toward a consciously eco-sustainable approach to mixed-media painting.

Nature is both material and subject in his work. Jair collects raw organic fragments—leaves, bark, flowers, feathers and other found elements from his surroundings—and integrates them into the foundational layers of his pieces. These are combined with natural pigments and eco-friendly paints to create textured, layered compositions that explore transformation, decay, and regeneration.

Jair has exhibited internationally in London, Hastings, Madrid, Barcelona, and Germany, and his current practice invites viewers to consider a more sustainable way of living and creating. By framing nature as both collaborator and medium, he explores the concept of “nature as the artist itself,” transforming overlooked and decaying objects into lasting visual narratives.
